The Scotch yoke is a mechanism for converting the linear motion of a slider into rotational motion or vice-versa. The piston or other reciprocating part is directly coupled to a sliding yoke with a slot that engages a pin on the rotating part. The shape of the motion of the piston is a pure sine wave over time given a constant rotational speed.

The air cylinders are nickel plated as standard to improve corrosion resistance and reliability.
An internal chrome guide bar insures proper support of the piston rod.
Provided with bronze bearings and sliding blocks for smooth operation and extended service life.
For the spring return version the spring is supplied in a welded spring cartridge to ensure safety when disassembling. The spring cartridge can only be removed when the spring is released。
